My Philosophy on Boudoir Photography

After years of photographing boudoir clients across Minnesota and the United States, I’ve realized something important: the real transformation doesn’t come from the angles, the lighting, or the albums you take home. It comes from the experience itself.

Booking a boudoir session is a leap…a decision that says, “I’m worth this.” You’re investing your time, your money, and your hope. And honestly, hope is usually the hardest part. We hope the photos will feel true to who we are. We hope we won’t be disappointed. We hope we can see ourselves the way others do. That takes real courage.

But here’s what I’ve seen again and again: once you move past that moment of hesitation, everything opens up. From selecting outfits to getting your hair and makeup done, you’re supported at every step. The session is energizing, grounding, and fun. And when you finally see your photos, it’s not just a gallery, it’s confirmation that you were worth it all along.

Who do you serve?

Our boudoir services are available to anyone who identifies as a woman, non-binary, or queer and would like to be posed femininely. However, there is a genre of boudoir specifically for men, called ‘Dudeoir.’ While this option exists, I do not specialize in intimate photoshoots for men or masc-presenting individuals.
